2026 is here, and I could NOT wait for Chittagong any longer. This yearly GAF tradition is how I first came across the site which led to long time lurking before finally signing up.

Since 2004, this GAF original thread has created an ever evolving snapshot of what it looks like to play video games in [current_year]. It's an unprecedented archive of evolving gaming culture, consumerism and home interiors around the world.

Use the +Image button below. In case it's not working for some reason, Abload.de is pretty good too. On iPhone, you may need to hit the image size and set it to Large instead of Maximum

My setup is cluttered, I don't want to post it!

Just do it! Seeing collections of hundreds of games, figures, art is a lot of fun. We have seen all kinds over the years.

Can I post other rooms and non-gaming stuff? Kitchen? Garage? Cars? Audio gear? Bondage cave?

Yes! While it's good to lead with gaming setups, feel free to follow with a broader look. If you post a lot of non-gaming pictures, please use a spoiler tag. Some people enjoy peeking into people's different lives around the world. We tried having a separate cribs thread back in 2011, but redundancy with this thread meant the concept didn't take off alone.

Ah yes! The this is the year I'm FINALLY going to do it. My wife and I are currently building so we are renting a home during construction. The work is not finished yet but here is a look at the progress on my FUTURE home/gaming setup:

Edit: Also, congrats on the new space, OP - that's an exciting time. I'll probably be buying a new spot this year and then doing a total rebuild of it next year... at which point, I'll finally have things like a theater room and my gaming room built the way I want 'em, without having to compromise anymore. That'll be the day.

Very basic and nowhere as cool as the other setup from others but it's good enough for me.

The computer under the table with the black case is my pervious computer that have served me for nearly a decade until just last month. Got a controller for certain games like Marvel Rivals, side scrolling, and FFVII Rebirth. For the rest of the games and online I just stick with the mouse.

Still traveling so still gaming on portables. Main system is a SteamDeck, DualSense Edge & Viture XR glasses and still happy with it. Added a Switch 2 last year along with a Cyclone 2 controller & Zengrip 2.

I have a lot of expensive crap but this old guy is what's actually worth something for me.

Always plugged in and ready to go with an 80s Wico joystick and upgraded with a Blizzard turbo card and DVI out and CF disk.
There is a C64 under there as well but currently not plugged in.

Man cave, man corner, or something.

I have a couch PC and all the consoles in the living room as well but it's nothing special.
