I know it’s well loved, but I didn’t click with Shrek 2. First one is excellent, but 2 just never made me laugh much and the theme felt like a retread. So I never saw 3 or 4.

Shrek 2 was amazing. Arguably the best movie out of them all. Of course the original is a classic but damn 2 was so good.

Same trend as always. Ive only seen the first two I think but i bet the new one will force an issue between well established relationships involving the characters and resolve it by the end, and throw some more pregnancies in there too so future movies can have parent/kid issues.

I rewatched the first four about a year ago or so. Shrek 2 was actually the first one I ever watched as a kid, so that one always has a special place for me. Shrek 1 is of course a classic. Shrek the Third kinda sucks. Shrek Forever After is surprisingly really good and it actually gets kinda emotional during certain parts! It's interesting how so many people aren't even aware it exists lol
