I guess it depends how much you take. I only took them once in college and I ended up on the ground staring at the night sky for hours, so yeah not sure how someone can sit down and function to play a video game.

How did it go? Technically with shrooms you want to be outside with nature and away from technology.

If you want to stay in and consume media I recommend LSD instead.
