Silent Hill F - Story Trailer Released

This game looks like a total banger, the atmosphere is just fantastic, can't believe the SH series is back without resorting to remakes of the past glories.

I really enjoyed the Remake and am looking forward to Silent Hill F, but I'd like to see more of the Gameplay, especially how the City is laid out and how many Dungeons are there?

My biggest concern about Other World is whether it will be like its predecessors or whether it will be more of a linear experience with a Weapon from a specific era and a Boss fight.
 
Might get this day one, nothing really exciting coming out in the rest of the year anyway, this does look best in a dull rest of 2025. The costume tear is a good feature, her skin is good but hopefully mods will be out to make face look better, would be a fun and refreshing SH experience this way.
 
Fantastic atmosphere, visuals and audio. The English voice acting has a little but of an artificial "dubbed" feeling to it, but I wasn't expecting more. The original Japanese voice acting is certainly a cut above, but I don't have a choice as I can't be bothered to follow subtitles while in-game.

Still iffy about the extreme hit stops, but hopefully it isn't that jarring during play.

Can't wait!

Sometimes that's the sort of thing that gets patched or modded, here here's hoping. They think it will add weight, but sometimes I'd rather just get on with it
 
Stop giving me what you think west audiences want and give me I saw the devil the whaling or some proper weird shit.
 
Even Konami is capable of showing an actual trailer unlike these morons at crapcom. I've alreafy pre ordered this. I really hope I see the day of SH1, 3 & 4 Remakes.

2 things I dislike :

1) The fact that this is Silent hill only in name - you could name it any other way and it wouldn't matter, there doesn't appear.to be anything silent hill-ish about it, this looks more Fatal frame (the esthetics I mean) than actual SH.

2) Those hit stop animations, man, they really need to tone it down, I like HS in my melee games but this looks downright comical ffs, and the thing is, this is the No.1 issue people have been having for months now and yet, they didn't do anything about it.
 
Still have doubts about this game, sadly. I have this horrible feeling it is going to be cheesy, lazy, and just have trope after trope. Of course I want to be completely wrong, but something seems / feels off.

I'm 100% sure it going to have Japanese voice, I can't imagine playing this game in English…..it just doesn't fit.

Aye. Playing a game set in 1960s Japan with English voices would feel super weird to me. I played Ghost of Tsushima with the Japanese voices, and will do the same for the sequel.
 
Don't know who thought that hit stops would be a good idea, especially in a Silent Hill game and not some crazy slasher or something like that. The rest looks promising, but I'll be very careful and wait for the post-launch impressions.
 
something about it just feels off and I can't say why.. the voice acting doesn't help.

It gives me vibes of devil may cry more than silent hill for some reason. Just not scary in the slightest.
 
I can confirm that. Something doesn't feel right about the trailer. I can't put my finger on what, though. More horror games are always good, of course, but I really wonder if we'll ever see another classic like P.T. or Visage.

With Konami back at a high level again in regards to Silent Hill again, I wonder why they can't handle the remakes too. Why not do them instead of just blooper. Maybe their assisting with the next remake?
