Altermnatively, perhaps your sims are having a hard time commuting? Or the freight from the other city has a hard time being delivered to your commercial zones?

Ah, it must of just been lag then. I destroyed all my industrial in my new city, and no one is complaining and the demand hasn't risen.

It works the same way that multi city play worked in SC4. When you exit a city. that city's status is "frozen" in time, and it'll continue functioning and providing services or whatever to everyone else, the same as it was at that moment.

Ok great. So cities are essentially separate entities within a region that function while you're away or not focusing on that particular city?

Sorry, was confused about Origin (and how you have to install it and all) until just now. I think the confusion stems from my Origin account existing only for Mass Effect 2/360 and never having logged into it via the client.

Really disappointed that Amazon doesn't seem to be sending any keys out until another 3 hours. The discount is nice but I can't see myself ordering from them in future for digital if they can't get it out at the proper launch time.

It is potentially very easy and I can foresee this being a major complaint for pickup regions and playing with randoms.

You may be right, IGN says it has a "sampling" of the 3 resources...may need to rethink my plan of attack once I get in there.
