I'm not going to judge it so soon, and I'll give it a shot. Even if the visual style ain't great, if the gameplay is there, I'm more than fine.
I always had access and kept missing it. I played the older games, and enjoyed them. Same with Tony Hawk, it was cool to have two different skateboarding IPs that were both awesome and could be enjoyed at the same time as they felt different enough. I think it looks great and fun, lol.I played the early tests for it and had a lot of fun. Idc about the older games (never played them) but I love the Tony Hawk series and there are similarities with this. It's fun just finding a good in game radio station and doing the different challenges, skating around, unlocking cosmetics, etc. Too many people freak out over art style (I actually think it looks good in game and it fits) or other dumb shit before even playing it.

I don't even get who this game is supposed to be for, It's got all the hallmarks of a modern game :
- ugly, Fortnite/Sims-looking characters
- forced tutorial crap
- no soul at all
- microtransactions up the arse
- always-online 'cause, why not ?
And $7 for a pair of shoes? Are you fucking kidding me?
This thing is gonna die in under a year and the devs will act shocked like they didn't see it coming.
This is literally everything wrong with gaming right now.
Screw it, I just picked up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster as to get my skate game fix...
PS: Dumb MF'ers should have just re-released skate 1, 2 and 3 like Activision did with the TH games
