Skindred is like System of a Down/Slipknot meets reggae/dancehall. What a fucked up combo, but God, oh sweet God, does it work. Their single "Nobody" is all kinds of hard, so this one isn't for the prissy indie kids who like their rattling of rocks in a tin can. This is for you adrenaline junkies who enjoy your chunky riffs, heavy drumming, and most importantly, lots of screaming! =D

So, who's heard of this sweet little band? This is GAF, so I know I'm not the only one.

They sound pretty good.

You should checkout the band Finntroll if you want some odd crossovers, they are a black metal/polka band and oddly enough it works pretty well.

The song playing is some sort of remix. The actual song is insanely heavy. I'll try to find a good clip. The clips on Amazon.com suck...

I agree they rock, and hard. But in a weird as way. The first time I heard it I just couldn't stop laughing... I mean.. hard metal with a dance hall beat? And what the hell is the singer saying?? I mean.. it was funny. But then you listen to it and you realize the genius of it all. Very good stuff been in heavy rotation since I got it off iTunes for like 8 bucks.

ok, i just asked him. there was a hardcore band named "dubwar" which he really liked, download "strike it" if you like skindred. and Skindred is the dubwar dudes' next band, so he immediately got the cd when it was out in europe...they are british i believe.

I was flipping through the channels and saw a commercial for this band. Holy shit, they sounded fucking awful. The once unanswerable question has finally been answered! How could you take Korn, Limp Bizkit, or [insert annoying rap metal band here], and make them even worse? Add reggae into the mix.

Seriously, that's what you sound like. The band sounds nothing like Korn or even Limp Bizkit. And there is absolutely no rapping involved here either...so stop talking out of your ass just for the hell of it.

depends on your mindset, they are actually pretty damn cool if you're into dub. on the other hand, if you never listened to any dub and think dub is ghetto or whatever, you might liken this band to cheesy shit like limp bizkit.

I listen to plenty of Dub and think this this stuff is kinda weak.
