Enjoy this action-packed (and occasionally gruesome) new world and story trailer for Behemoth, the upcoming first-person monster-slaying VR action game from Skydance Games (the developers of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners) that's set in the Forsaken Lands, where the only way to save your village is to take down the titular Behemoths. Behemoth will be released for Meta Quest and PSVR2 on December 5.

Skydance made the The Walking Dead VR games, which I had even more fun with than Half-Life: Alyx (although Alyx is objectively higher-budget and more detailed). Might check this out if I can be asked to get my headset back out.
Yea, Saints and Sinners is arguably a GOAT-tier VR title.

This game is gonna be dope. One of those games I'm not even hyped for because I know it's gonna be good, so I don't really give it much thought as a whole. Just patiently waiting for it to release.

So stoked. This game looks like a hodge podge of what vr does well. Blade and sorcery combat, bow and arrow shooting, scale and climbing. Hoping it all comes together cohesively.

These guys made walking dead so I’m hopeful

For too long the reign of the Behemoths has brought misery and damnation to everything beneath them. But you are burdened with unyielding resolve. Now YOU must stand tall and bring the gods down to your level. Free yourself, free your people… free this world!

Available Now on Meta Quest, PSVR 2, and Steam

Yet another big game IGNored by the mainstream press. Don't these publishers send them review copies? Aliens Rogue incursion is likely not going to suffer the same fate but I wouldn't be surprised if it were.

This... isn't bad. But there's a fair amount of jank going on. I've beaten the first behemoth, and it was a bit of a slog. The promised 'Shadow Of The Colossus in VR' isn't really right. The fight is very, very simplistic, and you barely climb him. The game is terrible at signposting requirements some of the time as well. VR is not the environment you want to be running around like a headless chicken.

Weirdly, this feels more like VR Dark Souls than VR Shadow OTC. Right down to your friendly blacksmith.

7/10 so far.
