First game was really, really good and im hyped for this one but man the timing, too many bangers lately, can't stop playing Mewgenics, a game that actually dethroned Slay the Spire as my favourite indie game.

And there's Crimson Desert too, gotta optimize my free time to play banger after banger

I can see why it might be off putting to some but I thought it was charming in a quirky kind of way heh.

Have started playing it again last week and I somehow got to level 19 ascension back when I played it religiously but now I can't even get to the final boss, let alone beat it, on the easiest difficulty.

I fell off.

I think Vampire Crawlers ate up all the hype I had for this.
Plus, how are they gonna top the first one? is one of the most well oiled games ever.

I thought that as well but after a while the style clicks with you. Especially at a time when many are using AI slop or copying Ghibli style, having their own style is fresh air.
