Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves continues the series' trend by providing more content and more players to work with. Although the 3D gimmick was a bust, the gameplay is good in spite of it, and you should enjoy the variety of scenarios in the game's many missions. The story mode is rich and entertaining, but at times excessive, so if you've not been a fan of it before, it might prove to be overwhelming in this iteration. Overall, the game's charm goes far beyond its presentation, making it one of the more interesting platformers to come out since Sly 2. If you like platform games, you can't go wrong by checking out Sly 3.

I'm thinking that Sly 3 is getting a little too far away from the excellent formula that Sly 2 offered but then again I've only played the demo. I'll have to try the final game out.

This sounds like another winner. I'm not too worried about the 3D gimmick, since it seems to be optional anyway. It's just a nice bonus inclusion for those who want to try it (like me :) ).

The 3D stuff was kind of annoying at E3 to be honest. I dunno, I liked Ratchet and Clank 2 and 3 (I didnt buy either), but I just cant see how there are so many people willing to shell out for the same platform series every year. I think Sony is dipping into the well too many times, personally.

Sounds... exactly the same as Sly 2. Which isn't a bad thing - I really enjoyed Sly 2 overall - but I do miss the structure of Sly 1's levels, being able to go back through them to re-complete objectives and such. Admittedly, you can just start the game again, but that's not the point!

One thing I hope Sly 3 has, and is sorely missing from Sly 2, is a Beyond Good and Evil-esque hint bottle tracker (if hint bottles are still in 3). I'm missing something like 1 bottle on each level and I know I can't be arsed to ever find them.
