Yeah I saw that a while ago, looks pretty neat. I'd probably lose the damn thing like 5 minutes after I got it though.

Well put it on your keychain, or a necklace (BLING BLING).

So if you lose it, you lose your keys too then you're doubly fucked.

"anythingbutipod.com?" Give me a fucking break. The URL alone means that there's not a chance of an unbiased review or coverage. I'll get my news from sources without an agenda, thank you :)

Let's look past the neatness of the size to the fact that it's likely not all that intuitive to hold or control, uses a proprietary battery, probably doesn't stand up to wear well, and the 10 hour battery life isn't exactly phenomenal.

It reminds me of that SNL sketch where Will Ferrel pauses and opens a ridiculously small cellphone to answer a call. There's a sort of fine line where the focus on size crosses into absurdity.

:lol then in the next episode, he had a hugeass phone from the 80s. "Big is the new small."

Ordered a Black and a Blue one from Wal-Mart. 512mb is just the right size, my current playlist clocks in at 395mb.

Let us know how you like it, I'm thinking about getting one...this would be perfect for the gym. That's all I really want it for.

Once the battery is dead ur screwed. And seriously how long do you think a battery that small is going to last.

I guess you would be as screwed as when your ipod batt dies (new 6gig mini Ipod is already holding a charge for a noticeably shorter time than it did 3 months ago).

replacement batts are all over ebay for the MobiBLU, don't worry.

I know my ipod batt sucks but you can easily get replacement batts. WTF do you find mobiBlu batteries. And how could you possibly open up that sugarcube. I doubt it has screws.

Did you even read the post you replied to?

:lol That's among the greatest Will Ferrel SNL skits of all time. His haircut, the glasses, the way he gets around in the electronic wheelchair... omg :lol

I'd take this before that one.. that cube probably wouldn't fit too well in pockets

looks like theres a few flaws tho.. so i'm not getting one yet
needed features:
"1. ACTUAL USB 2.0 speed
2. Drag and Drop Compatible
3. USB Mass Storage Compatible (hey if I'm paying 200 bux why should I carry around another memory stick for my files)"
oh plus sonicstage sucks.

i take itunes+firewire sync ability for granted.

This thing is so fucking small. It just dangles off the cord of my headphones :lol

The body of the mp3 player is metal but it comes with a neat rubber cover to keep it from getting dinged up.

Only the Blue one showed up today (black one will be here early next week). Beat the hell out of the Ipod mini (if you have a playlist 512mb or less).

10 hour battery life? That's fine with me.
I have a 40GB 4G iPod, but the treadmill at my gym is quite bouncy and I don't like to think of damaging my iPod, so something like this would be sweet.

How's the sound quality .hacked? I have an old Rio S10 I've had for a few years that I use at the gym. The only place I use a portable music player is at the gym, so my need for one of those huge harddrive iPODS is pretty nill, but small flash based ones are great for my gym needs.

Soon we'll have an MP3 player small enough to be injected into the blood stream. It's best that you don't ask where your headphones will plug in.

Can someone post the picture of that one black tiny MP3 player with great design that someone posted here once? It is sold only in Europe I think.

Problem #2, maybe also #3 you can fix with a simple firmware update. It really sucks that it's not USB 2.0 compatible, otherwise I've heard it's a excelent litttle player (great sound quality, FM radio, oled screen and insane battery life)

Finally got mine, couple things bother me about it first.

-It's got a small screen, and due to it's size you'd think they'd be smart about the real estate. Unfortunately they aren't, and on the file browser screen the file/folder icons take up a good half+ of the screen.... which leavess about 4 letters of scrolling text for you to determine what the song is. THey could of kept the icons alot smaller, or non existent and saved a bit of space.

-The only way to recharge it is to use the usb adapter. Which means if you're stuck without a computer and want to recharge this thing, you're outta luck. Unless there's some weird AC->USB adapter thing out there. You also can't listen to music while recharging since it uses the same port for earphones as it does the transfer/recharge cord.

Other than that it's a great little player. Comes with a nifty pair of earphones that doubles as a necklace and you just hang the tiny thing around your neck. You can't even really tell it's there it's so small and light, the earphones probably weight more overall.

Sound quality seems good, but I've never been quite an ear for sort of things but it's definately beyond the level I'd determine as acceptable.

File browsing is pretty good except for the big icon issue, and I can navigate fine with no real problems. The buttons are tiny though, so it took some getting use to.

I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a small player, seems a lot of people at my work might be picking one up now too.
