Seta's first SF game is going to be a huge 8 megabit RPG. As the photo show, Gdleen is quite similar in layout to a Phantasy Star 2. That is, the quest is set in an overhead perspective with pull down windows. The battle scenes will zoom into a PS2 type head-on view with your options for battle shown below. With meg though, the enemy are highly detailed and fully animated. The mazes are, again, like PS2 set in a 3/4 overhead view and consisting of sceen after screen of intertwining corridors, all loaded with huge enemies

Isn't this a bannable offense?Dyne said:This one's great. I play it on my PSP all the time now.
AFAIK, it had a realtime clock in the game, thanks to a specialized chip, or something like that. It made the game un-emulatable. That problem was eventually solved, but the chip still provided an extra level of hassle to fan-translators.Mejilan said:I remember how this was the one supposedly impossible to fan-patch translate. Is that still true?
What makes this game so special?

You know, the guy responsible for MODERN ZELDA.

Lennis is one of my Favourite RPGs in SFC eraPellham said:Neo, Lennus 1 came out here as Paladin's Quest. Well came out in the US anyway. Also, I don't really understand all the Feda recommendations, but I guess since there were slim pickin's on the SuperFami, people are bound to enjoy almost everything.
it is perfectpgtl_10 said:Was final fantasy 5 any good? I always wondered why it wasn't released in the US or did they release it here? I heard it was thought to be too complicated for American gamers that is why it was never released here during the SNES era.

SMT lovers should give it a try...I don't understand a fuck...but the story seems pretty dark.Kleegamefan said:Another one you should try is Madara 2 by Konami...
Music is FANTASTIC....if you are a Castlevania 4 fan you should give this one a listen as it was composed by the same person and has very CV4-ish bass samples...

IMO the system is PRETTY good...Of course I am comparing it to just FF7 and FF10 which in my opinion have pretty stupid systems...You can make any character do ANYTHING and mix a lot of things. Actually the system is very powerful...pgtl_10 said:Was Final Fantasy 5 really complicated?
john tv said:neo, you're a man after my own heart. I was coming into this thread to suggest Lennus 2, a game which I bought at launch and STILL haven't got around to playing (yes, I was this bad back then, too).
The first Lennus came out in America as Paladin's Quest. All who mocked it for its visuals need to be lined up and shot. It's a great RPG with a very unique atmosphere and solid gameplay. It's one of my favorite games to mention whenever anybody starts up an "underrated games" thread.
