Anyway yeah that Joe Biden impression sucked

Sorry guys I went back and tried sprucing up the OP after hastily making one on Saturday night in hopes of discussing the premiere (which no one wanted to do evidently, lol). I tried and I failed and gave up, so here's a shitter banner. Good day.

I remember watching SNL in the 80s with my brothers and it was funny. Eddie Murphy Otay! I think some of the early 90s was good, then we all noticed it was shit soon after.

Problem is there's weekly episodes so they run out of material fast dragging on skits for 90 minute show.

It should be one 90 minute show per month tops jamming in their best skits. Just imagine how good it'd be as a monthly show.

How bad is it this season? The writers only seem to be funny when a Republican is in office and then do zero funny political stuff when a dem is in office.

I thought the premiere was pretty bad even by SNL standards. I didn’t even finish it. From the very start, they had a new cast member do a Joe Biden impression that was really unfunny and it barely picked up from there

SNL was relevant when it was counter-culture. Now it's just propaganda for the Biden regime.
Yeah the last time they made fun of a Democrat was Bill Clinton and even then it wasn’t mean but it was hilarious to see things like Phil Hartman heading to McDonalds and over eating. I think it has a lot to do with the writers they used to make fun of everyone including Carter when the show first launched. The Trump stuff was kind of funny if not one note after a while. Weekend Update is about As edgy as they get.
