Apparently no problems using either. The DS manual briefly mentions something about the DS/SP adapters being interchangeable, and if you look on the adapters themselves, they have the exact same specs.

Even more, I've read that they just produce one adapter with both names on them. I saw this in a LiveJournal post, where the person thought everyone must have been blind to not notice the bit about "Nintendo DS" on their hardware when they bought their GBA SPs a couple years back. :lol Of course it hasn't been on there the whole time.
