Today I went to Capcom and tried to figure out the future of Megaman Anniversary Collection for the GBA.
The guy near the typical 4-screen Megaman handheld game setup (MMZs, MMBNs, etc.) gave me some BS answer about porting GB to GBA is hard. Yeah, right, asshole. I can program for both. It's not hard! Especially not for over 2 years for a professional company. He also didn't confirm or deny Xtreme 1 or 2 in them.
I then went to the media desk and asked and was given a "no comment."
There was also no mention of it in their E3 catalog.
I assume it's a lost cause by this point. When I get back home, I'm unreserving it at Gamestop. I wanted to hold out, but with no mention at E3, I see no reason to believe Capcom is still developing it.
Such a pity, it would have been such a nice title to keep. At least I can look forward to MMXAC.
