They made an awkward mid day stop at my campus so I skipped a class to go check the scene out. Unfortunately, you had to be on a "list" to get in, consisting mainly of people who had applied to attend beforehand (They didn't even publicize they were coming) or who were College Republicans, but I knew the guy at the door and got in. The speech was pretty cheesy, but it was a marked improvement over that Convention one. For one thing, they took turns speaking for 15 minutes instead of standing there trading awful one liners. Now to get it out of the way...

By the way, I go to Miami University (Oxford, Oh), so if you go to college in the region, watch out. This was relatively a surprise visit.
