OK, here's my situation. I'm about to go out with this girl (fucking gorgeous might I add), and every now and then she talks about how she's been wanting to kiss me for so long. It's obviously very important to her, and I don't want to fuck it up.

I haven't been with a girl in about a year, so I know I'm really nervous about the kissing thing. Even before then, though, kissing has never done anything for me. Maybe it's just because I was never good at it, but the only things that really turned me on involved heavy groping, dirty talk, or her moaning in pleasure.

So, yeah, this is very embarrassing, but can you guys give me some tips on good kissing? How slow should I be moving my tongue? What kind of movements should I be making with it? How often should I close my mouth/pull back? Other tips??

I've never really been given tips on what to do before, I just went with it. I mean, I've never got any complaints, but I guess I'm just paranoid.

Kiss closed-mouth a couple times. Go slow, and "hold" it about a second more than you feel like you should. Once the open-mouthed tounge fun begins, be sure to switch it up. Playfully give smaller closed-mouthed kisses amongst the open-mouthed ones.

don't just stick your tongue in her mouth and go to town, the best i can describe it is like licking her tongue with your tongue with an ever so slight pause between licks. I don't think that fully explains it but it's not like I've seen a video of me kissing a girl (a guy is an entirely different matter, I don't kiss guys (oooh gotcha!)).

Depending in the situation, i won't go directly for the kiss on her lips. i'll usually lead with my nose, lightly carressing her neck/ears/etc. with it, while gently kissing or nibbling her. The hand opposite the side i'm kissing might be entangled in her hair, moving down her neck or whatever, but it's doing something.

When i do get to kissing her. i usually kiss her lips lightly a couple of times before holding them. After a few full-on kisses we develop a rhythm, and i feel her open her lips a bit, which is when i move in with the tongue. Again, start slow. Just off the top of my head, but i'd say the "why can't i get a girl?" threads that turn into selfpity circlejerks are much worse. Docpan has the girl and has already kissed others, he just wants tips on what to do to improve his technique.

Steps if you're leading : not one then the other. Add the next step to the last, etc...You should be leading. Gently introduce your tongue to the lips while kissing. Start with the tip of your tongue, slow strokes here and there while in a kiss.
Gently increase pressure of your tongue on her lips, as if you're asking for permission for full-blown tonguing. Don't insist. She'll make it clear eventually and open up, if she hasn't already.
Once she lets you in, I dont see how you could mess up. Don't drool. Don't hesitate to be the one to END one of the kisses. Pull away, then go back in. You're in control and dont let her forget it.
One hand rubbing her back/ass if she's standing, her hip if you're sitting, stay clear of breasts *at first*, or just slightly apply pressure -no squeezing, or BARELY- if you're moving up in that direction. I reckon you can get away with not kissing her that well as long as you're doing other stuff.
