Ok, I need a good BT client. Problem is that I have never used BT technology before. I do have a rough idea as to how it works (seeding and such) but what must I know? What's a good torrent client to use?

I've recently switched to BitTornado, and after finding the above tutorial on port forwarding, am finally getting real good speeds (120k on down)

also use google to find bigger sites, bc i only started getting real good speeds when i found popular sites with very active files
i'm by no means an expert, but these tools have me much more confortable using bittorrent

I'd recommend Azureus for the client. Just make sure you limit the upload speed to about 80% of your maximum upload speed, and you should be set.
