Another mysterious listing in the US Patent Office revives Sonic R Rumours
Once again another entry and scarce details appears in the US Patent listings, this time Sonic Rush. Late last month it appears SEGA have registered the title to another Sonic game to be unveiled at E3 later this month, similar to when Sonic Gems Collection was registered not long ago. Unlike the SGC entry, unfortunately no logo was supplied with the entry.

Such news revives waves or rumors from last months 'Sonic R Extreme' sightings in upcoming release listings in the US video game retailer chain, Game Crazy.

Whether this is indeed a Sonic R sequel or the name of the upcoming Sonic DS title is currently unknown, however many believe the answer will be revealed at the E3 expo later this month.

I've always wanted to hear the music from Sonic R, plus other Jacques hits, live and in concert.

Yeah, despite the considerable cheese, the soundtrack fit that game so well, it was almost perfect. It's Sonic music more like it should be, pop/rnb instead of light butt rock. I hope this happens for the PSP, as it should look good.

that is not overkill if Sonic Rush is a portable game. 4 games is not bad, and two could be portables. Lord knows that Nintendo puts mario in everything. For the record, not all the Mario side games have been great either. You just seem to dislike sega lately, becuase they are not doing whatever the hell you want them too.

It's 4 games but 6 SKUs. Nothing new though, Sonic's been getting progressively more and more pimped since Sega went 3rd party, seems to be winning formula for popular mascots...
