Sonic Rush and Phoenix Wright were incredible at E3.. absolutely some of the best games at the show. I kept putting off playing VJ and just ran out of time. :\

Sonic is GREAT. It's like a really good version of Sonic Advance 3, where you can actually tell where you are in the levels thanks to the screen real estate.

Seriously, of the 50-plus titles I eventually got around to playing, Phoenix Wright stands out as the most fun original game from the floor. Buy or die.

im really hoping the sonic game will put the ds sound capabilites to use and give us some stellar music. with 128 megabyes of space to work with, it would not be unresonable to expect some recorded "mp3" type music.

at LEAST 128 MB.

Matrix Semiconductors was making cards up through 256 MB when I checked their site in January.

Poor guy probably doesn't understand any English.

Although I would not have been surprised if it was someone at IGN playing the video :D

WOW!

I cannot believe Sonic Team is putting this level of care into this game. It'd be simple to hand this over to Dimps and ask them to churn out another Sonic 2 clone, but that is not the case here.

The 2D/pseudo 3D look looks great in motion. That boss fight looks simply incredible. And that new "boost" move of Sonic's keeps the flow going.

Between this and 'New Super Mario Bros.', I can't tell which game I'm looking more forward to.

Holy Crap! I had no idea Sonic Rush was a 3D game on a 2D plain ala VJ. That looks crazy fun I have got to get my hands on that. Looks awsome for a DS game too I guess the developers are getting use to the hardware.

That does look great. I shouldn't have gotten all my E3 info from G4 this year. I go to gaming age and it's like a totally different show happened. Lots of great DS games to see :)

The top-level cards are more expensive to mass-produce (just like top-level cartridges with extra storage space)...

Besides, are you sure you're talking about MB (Megabytes)? I thought they were often listed by Mb (Megabit), thus a 128 Mb card = 16 MB of storage space? That's room for more high-quality samples, voice, maybe some music and a touch of FMV if they cram, but it's not _that_ spacious.

Fuck that. Get Nakamura back on composition duties, that's all I want.

Seriously, they can use freakin' Genesis sound as long as he's composing the music.

Sonic Rush was great - definetly picking it up for my empty DS.

For some reason the way they did the in-game Sonic model reminded me of how he was drawn in the Sonic CD intro.

WHOA AWESOME. At first I was like "WTH where did Sonic go?" and then i looked down :)

Looks awesome. The animation looks really really good compared to the genesis titles.
