Calling it now, it's an alternate future Robotnik and he's the one that made all those Metal Sonics from the Sonic 3 post credits.

Could definitely see some time travel shenanigans happening.

These movies would be a lot more appealing without the James Marsden crew being drug along from sequel to sequel. Seeing the characters rendered on screen is a treat but the movies are just not made for those who grew up with the games at all.

It was 2020, they've got these out at a pretty good clip. So many franchises these days drag their feet on getting new installments out, it's important for kids-focused stuff like this not take too long. I laughed when I saw KPop Demon Hunters sequel not coming until 2029. Like, WTF are you guys doing, no one will care about it by 2029. That shit should be fast tracked to 2027.

These have all been great, thoroughly enjoying movies. Looking forward to watching this with my daughter!

Sonic one was the last film we saw at the cinema before COVID struck and number two was the first film we saw once they opened back up.
