Sonicstage Sucks

So is there another program I can use to transfer files to my MD player? I can't even get Sonicstage started now. Previous problems include taking an entire hour to import one album.

The program sucks and I'm tired of using it. I am currently using Sonicstage 3.0 and Sony help tells me to install 3.2. I am on dial-up, it will take me about 3 hours to download and install it though (stupid Sony with no direct download links!). I saw that realplayer has a MD app in it, but I'm not installing that either. I know there are a few MD people on the board, some of you must use better software, right?

Aside from being picky with certain tracks, RealOne was better than SonicStage for some time. Now i'd have to give the nod to SS. The latest version is actually pretty good, much more responsive, and after reimporting my library, it recognized almost all of my MP3s. Much better than the ~20% recognition from before. It still pales compared to something like iTunes, but there's not much else out there.

well right now SS will not install correctly and I don't know why. I just got 3.2 downloaded and installed, it won't work either. It hangs on the "Initializing UI Components." Sony help told me to download the program with my virus scanning software turned off. Fuck them, I get "attacked" at least twice a day and I don't want to be caught with my pants down, so to speak.

Also, one time I installed it said it couldn't find swflash.cab. I thought that looked strange so I looked it up on the internet and sure enough it's the Shockwave program. The help person could not explain why SS was looking for Flash.
