Quick Google search confirms that Haven Studios benefits from Canadian taxpayer money paying 36.5% of employee salaries. If Sony doesn't ship this game they owe all that money back to the government.

It's literally cheaper to release it and let it bomb.

This is probably the next Exclusive AAA Tent-Pole release for the PlayStation 5 Pro. Rumor has it, the reason Jade Raymond left the studio that Sony built for her to make this game is because the game was actually too good. They had to pull her out because the value being added on a daily basis was going to create a contrast that the other first party tent pole releases for the system wouldn't be able to match. With Marathon already adding crushing demand to a global RAM crisis, humanitarian organizations are the world are begging Sony not to release this. Adding such a heavy increase to the already ferocious RAM demand in a time like this for an entertainment product is irresponsible. Hospitals could be using that RAM.
