Sony arent in the PDA market anymore. Sony Ericsson will be releasing a new Pseries device. Clearly its not one of their important directions right now.

The Vaio on the other hand is nice but looks same as others.

Expand to what levels, specifically? One's a PDA running Palm OS and the other is a PC running Windows - in what way are you hoping the PSP might expand to be more like one of them?

Nah, more like borrow ideas between these two tech devices (such as new features, add-ons, etc..).

Not likely. Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Electronics are on better terms now than they've been in years, but that doesn't mean they're on good terms with each other.
