Sony presents PSP Connect (video tutorial site)

Sweet, and Sony is going to host content for free download as well? I know it is a small gesture, but it is pretty cool/

IF they are smart that URL is somewhere in the PSP box/manual/handout....

Yea at the end of the tutorial she says there will be new videos on this site every week. It's not much but it'll definitely show consumers how to put on their own stuff.

OR! They could've just fucking said:

"Hey, right click this. Type in that. Right click this and type in that."

What the hell is the point of downloading this thing? All you have to do is just make a few right clicks and you're done.

It's to confuse us and distract us from the fact that Image Convertor 2 still isn't available in English-language form and thus you can't make your own PSP videos yet. BUT WHO CARES BECAUSE WE GOT SPEED RACER LAMFO! RITE

I don't remember where I downloaded it, but I've got Image Convert 2 (converted to English by some chap). Works like a dream, really nice UI as well.

I have that exact Vaio. Its loud as shit and throws off only slightly less heat than the sun. My sperm is probably totally fried.

You still need to creat a MP_ROOT? That's dumb. Why don't just update the PSP firmware (or whatever) and add a simplier "VIDEO" folder? It's like an "offical hacking procedure" as it is now.

Cause it's to suppoer MPEG video from camera/camcorders. When you do video->MP4 it goes into the MP_ROOT directory.

And yeah, IC2 is good for quick and easy image conversion. i had the translated version on my box, but since reformatted and went back to the original that came with my Clie. IC2 is still in a Zip somewhere.

i wonder if they're going to update SonicStage to recognize the PSP natively, and sync files. it's silly to have to buy a separate program for synching/synching files.

I get that, but the PSP also supports digital cameras photos without the need to create a specific folder and rename files in a "strange" way. Dunno, it still feels less user friendly than it should be.
