You won't like them. Sorry! :)

Check out purevolume.com/[bandname] to hear some samples for most of those bands, chances are they're listed.

I've heard about 6 bands on that giant list. Mae being numero uno in my opinion of course. Reggie And the Full Effect is pretty cool, they have a song on Burnout 3

Dice

Pokémon Parentage Conspiracy Theorist
It's hard to give advice to someone with such horrible taste in music. :p

Mae really is the best of them.

Hangar 18 does some pretty great hip-hop shit. Uh... I've heard a couple Horrorpops songs, and it was pretty cool rocakabilly stuff, I guess. That's a pretty awful lineup for Warped. :/

Listening to a Mae cd right now after the reccomendations from this thread. Sounds pretty good.

What shocked me is this appears to be christian rock? I thought all those bands sucked...

Which CD? The Everglow > Destination: Beautiful by a WIDE margin

I don't think it's christian...it sounds like it though. I've heard one instance of 'jesus' in one song, and some heaven/hell stuff in another.

Mae is pretty good. I liked Destination: Beautiful, but haven't heard much of Everglow

Can't really support the Transplants. I'm not a big fan of the song writing in that group

NEAR MISS - OH YES!!! Big fan of them. Pretty sure it's made up of Ex-Bigwig members. Really Melodic. Check out 'Walk Away' and 'Answers'

I like Matchbook Romance as well. They sound a little bit like Thrice. 'Hollywood and Vine' would be one to check

+1 Reggie And TFE

Halifax and Gym Class Heroes are pretty good groups as well.

Aside from your main list, I wouldn't want to pass Near Miss by, nor would I not check out Reggie as well.

They're on Tooth & Nail, who work with Christian artists - not all of whom actually write music about it though.

I LOVE Relient K. You won't like them. They're also christian.

Really funny guys. Pretty hard punk rock. Clever lyrics. Very tongue in cheek. Seriously underrated vocals and melodies. They do tons of great covers too (Charles in Charge, Fraggle Rock, Thundercats).

I've heard way better than the bands I've actually listened to on this list. But damn, those are a lot of no names. And I thought I knew a ton of bands.

A lot of times, warped will draw some local bands from the surrounding cities to fill some empty spaces.

That might explain some of the no-names you see.

Valient Thorr is pretty fucking awesome. i dunno how they made it on that list, cause i mean they don't even headline local shows most of the time.

Reggie and the Full Effect is the side project of James Deewees, keyboardist for the Get up Kids and former drummer for Coalesce. The first couple of albums were hilarious and worth picking up, but the last couple have been ok. The live shows are amazing though; the second best show I've ever been to was a Reggie show at the Metro a couple years back even though the key-tar broke and James played the wrong chords and sang the wrong lyrics for half a song. So, so good.
