Greetings, Void Hunters!

The day has finally come… Soulstone Survivors is now officially out of Early Access, along with a HUGE release update! We've prepared a special trailer for the occasion:

This update brings new characters, skills, artifact powers, and of course… new lore with full voice over support across the game! If you'd like a quick overview of the key points coming in this update, check out our video below:

Lore, The Voices of the Void and the Void King

To bring context to the world and the mission and culture of the Void Hunters, we are introducing a new introduction experience, along with over 2500 voice lines spread across the game to bring personality to each hunter.

Titan Hunt - Part 2

This update brings the conclusion to the Titan Hunt chapter within the game, where you will finally learn what you can use Titan Blood for, face new challenges and learn new, unique powers.

New Character: The Machinist

Having mastered the ways of the Soulstones, the Machinist uses his brilliance to create powerful machinery harvesting the energy from these unstable crystals. With his battle armor he specializes in focused beams of energy to destroy powerful foes and large area damage to cut through waves of enemies.

His weapons bring a set of new powers into the game, and with his ascension he's able to harvest charged soulstones to awaken the Machine Spirit, launching a devasting blast!

New Character: The Samurai

After decades of discipline and training, the Samurai has learned not only how to fight his demons, but control them to unleash chaos upon his enemies. Like his predecessors, he is one with the blade, but he unites the old and the new, being capable of unleashing powerful strikes channelling elemental powers against his foes.

Each of his Katanas is designed for different combat techniques, and when all hope is lost, the Samurai may materialize his own rage to decimate any that stands in his way.

New Artifact Powers

This update also brings the artifact powers for all remaining 12 characters! Upgrade your weapons to the Artifact rarity and gain access to these powerful skills that compliment the playstyles of each character and offer another way to enhance your builds to the next level!

this game is quite repetitive, almost every active skills plays the same.

Huge fan of the bullet heaven genre, but could never get into this one

Also those new heroes in the OP are completely ripped off dota :messenger_confounded:

After poop socking this for a few days I give it two thumbs up. Very awesome game if you want hours of progression to chew on. Sooo many classes & builds.

I got bored very fast of this one. Not a fan of the different character leveling system. Seems like a forced time waster. Just to get a couple new abilities you have to run several times. I got it. Just open up the abilities already.

Try to unlock all characters first. Lots of build variety for each character so don't force yourself to play with one set of skills only

That's the exact gameplay I disliked. Once you unlock a character you have to level up by running the same shit you just ran 40 times to get character #20. The abilities are all basically the same anyway.

Yes, it's grindy and I'm okay with it. That's the cycle of such games but you can definitely play alternatives with less grind

Cool, might install this again but currently going for all the achievements in Gatekeeper and Peak.

(because while I very much enjoy these types of VS-likes they ultimately are just glorified achievement collectors for me)

The runs in this remind me of Diablo 3. You start off weak and by the end you're this face rolling AOE monster. You do successive portals (Greater Rifts) until the scaling gets to be too much and you die. The meta progression unlocks help you go higher.

I just did a run that lasted like 70 minutes and reached endless level 7.

Smite ability (holy type) causes an absurd amount of health regen. I'd regain all missing health almost instantly. Finally died when enemies hit hard enough to overwhelm the regeneration
