I don't think these posters are very good. Green Goblin's suit looks exactly like in the 2002 movie.

Never liked Tom as Spidey tbh. He looks and sounds like a 12yr old kid. Hard to take him seriously. But what do i know, maybe im just too old for this shit.

Does it even matter?

We all know there're in it, id rather wait for the film to see them than in a trailer.
Well it just makes a whole mockery of the event, Sony are saying it's a trailer launch event with BIG surprises.

We already know that Goblin, Electro and Doc Ock are in the film, so what's the surprise? Sandman?

Sony surely have to reveal it at some point prior to the film, literally not one person isn't aware of Tobey and Andrew being in it, just give the people what they want and let us see them without it being 266p leaked stills.

I'm confident we'll seem Toby and Andrew in the trailer. Probably be a sneak glimpse at the end of the trailer with both of them in their full suits. That would be good enough for me.

Same here, I just need a tease, maybe their shadows with the Elfman and Zimmer themes playing.

The event happens around 8 hours from now I think.

Lovely. That's 01:00 UK time.

I'm hyped for this film, but it's not worth losing sleep to watch the trailer.

I'll watch it when I wake. Because of the song and dance their making over this trailer, I'm expecting something massive.

This is only in cinemas right? so 1:30 am UK time just means we can read the spoilers on reddit then.. or did they backtrack and this is a YouTube release?

I'm sure it will be on Youtube. It will be shown at the L.A. event but I don't think think it will be streamed online. The actors might appear there.

If they play Danny Elfman's theme and show Tobey returning at the same time, I am going to weep.

The summer of Spider-Man 2 is an engrained part of my childhood, like many others, I assume. I listened to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, The subliminal Verses, and it was probably the last summer before I fell in love for the first time. This is my nostalgia sweet spot and it is going to burn a hole in me, corny or not.

Parts I liked: everything else

Parts I didn't like: "Zoomer Spidey and his lame friends"

That scene with MJ telling Dr. Strange "you know, this is all kind of your fault..." Chick, were you there when Peter was the one asking Dr. Strange for a spell!? If I were Dr. Strange I would just lock her away in the mirror dimension forever so she doesn't show up for the rest of the movie 😂

Peter: "what did you say your name was again?"
Ock: "Dr. Otto Octavius"
Peter and lame Zoomer friends: "LOL..."

Who wrote this dialogue?? Some of it is bad...

The Doc seems a bit weird though that he sees no issues of morality with altering all people's memories like that(at least the trailers don't give any indications he does). And does that erase all photo and videos evidence too? :goog_unsure:

Based on how he handled and outsmarted Dormammu and how he strategically gave up the Time Stone to Thanos (because he saw this was necessary to the 1-in-14 million victory condition), and other actions, I'm willing to give Dr. Strange the benefit of the doubt.

He is, along with Scarlet Witch, probably the most powerful hero in all the MCU. And, like the Ancient One says in Endgame, "He [Dr. Strange] was meant to be the best of us..." So if he's fucking around with the multiverse recklessly, that would be out of character for him.

People forget that he was an arrogant douche for 80% of his own film, thinking he can pull off a difficult spell then blaming peter when it fucks up is very much in character for him.

There was the whole part of his own movie where he went on a journey that humbled the shit out of him, gave him a wider purpose way behind himself and his own selfish wants and needs. At which point he became practically a different person. And he has shown that difference through his actions.

It's not like Tony Stark that went through a character development as far as being less selfish, but always had a bit of an a-hole demeanor.

EDIT: don't other previews also show Peter literally voicing out wishes and getting in the middle of the spell while Strange is executing it? We won't know until the movie of course but seems Peter has a big hand in this, both for asking for the spell in the first place and then subsequently (potentially) fucking up whatever Strange's original spell intention was.
