Spider-Man The Animated Series is Getting the X-men 97 Treatment...

Would be better if they made it a show. Not that interested in the recent one they did.

The clone saga stuff was fun as a kid.

yea, doubt many would be interested in comic only.
After the tease cameo in X-men '97, its not enough. We want the full treatment and care.

Honestly, I'd far prefer the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon from the 2000's decade return, it was much better especially in the pacing (seriously, the 90's Spider-man cartoon sometimes seemed almost afraid to go even five seconds without someone opening their mouth), plus it didn't make the baffling decision to make Peter's biggest foe The Kingpin, but instead correctly had Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in that role instead.

Also was an actual action-packed series with little censorship where Spider-man could actually hit his enemies, whereas the 90's cartoon had a ridiculous high level of fighting limitations on it so that Spider-man rarely threw even a punch and "don't say death" was in full effect (meanwhile over in DC, the Superman Animated Series flat out has Darkseid straight up murder a supporting character), in fact the show's own staff joked they couldn't even display pigeons being disturbed.

I know people have their nostalgia for the 90's show, but I consider Spectacular Spider-man the much better show.

I still find it funny that the only Spiderman series that had a full length run and end, was the least liked series, Ultimate Spiderman.

I think they meddled with his work though. 😔
They will, its was a team that made X-Men 97 as good as it was, now with a part of it gone things will change and add to that the change in atmosphere/attitudes once the boss get fired.

No guarantee it will be bad or good but its never a good start.
