A friend is letting me borrow it and I'm pretty impressed...for the most part. I think that the episodes on the 2 DVDs are totally out of order because there is a lack of continuity in the relationship between Peter and MJ. One episode she's making out with him, and the next it's just...weird, and like he doesn't know she likes him. Anyways, the Lizard episode was pretty cool. As was the one about the chick with the sword that keeps her youthful. The only thing I can really complain about right now are the sometimes far-too-quick endings. Like the one where Harry is dating that girl Cheyenne (sp?) and Pete's fighting her as Spider-Man...in the end, she just kind of disappears and tells Harry she's moving over the phone, and that's about it.

Anyways, the animation rocks, I love the intro, and it's just a pretty cool and entertaining show to watch. I hear there is not really a chance of another season?...

I think it's interesting... And the fight scenes are done pretty well.

I just don't like how they changed the character designs. Especially MJ, who looks incredibly goth.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Is the the crappy CG one that appears on MTV, or something else?

I really wish MTV would have continued with this show. It was actually quite decent and better than ROAD RULES MMCDXVIIII

Yeah. I really like that black shirt Pete wears though. And Harry's cool too. J. Jonah's voice sounds way too young.

A lot of the time it makes me wish that the same company would just do a Jet Grind Radio television show. That would rock sooooooooo much.

Geez, did they can yet another animated show? Or did they intend to end it after a certain period?

Either way, MTV has a lousy record with the number of seasons for their animated shows.

I totally agree that it's really hip looking, but I don't mind. It's just a different take on an old character. As long as I'm entertained, I'm happy. And this show does that for me, so I can't complain much. I think that they got Peter's character totally right.

I saw this and thought the dvd rocks. I heard that there was a second unaired season; is there any truth to that?

I wish they'd release spider man the old series from the 80s with his amazing friends. That show rocked

Long live the 80s

Agreed...what I really liked was how the fights were done. Being in 3D really helped captured the space, speed and agility of Spidey in a battle that the 2D cartoons didn't have a hope of matching. I just wish it had shown more of the bigger name villians, though my bro who was at that Toronto comic convention last week heard from one of the show producers that Sony Pictures wouldn't let them use any (you were at the show right? Maybe you heard the same thing). Anyway I liked the show overall, thought the characters were well done (particularly Harry), and the new villians were pretty cool as well. Just hope the show is continued somewhere...leaving it hanging the way they did would be as stupid as cruel as the way the Fox Spider-Man show left off.

BTW, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends ruled. Check out this site for information on it. Oh yeah, Firestar was a hottie!
