This is what is confirmed about their new movie. What we can gather from this is that it will be a horror movie.

Spike Jonze (director) and Charlie Kaufman (writer) made Being John Malkovich and Adaptation -- two excellent movies. Kaufman also made Human Nature and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Any thoughts or speculation? I don't really follow rumors closely, so anyone care to enlighten?

Did you see the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs video that Spike directed?

It's got a horror vibe by way of Village of the Damned. Could be him practicing for the film.

It will be a zombie love story and will focus on the relationships between the undead. It will pick up on the themes of shows like Six Feet Under and Dead Like Me, and feature a great soundtrack that will mostly be comprised of pretty acoustic guitar numbers.

You did say speculation.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is somewhere between alright and pretty good. Some great moments, Clooney did a nice job in his directorial debut.

Jonze was involved with that zombie-themed Phantom Planet video.
