We still don't have Switch ports of the WiiU Twilight Princess or Wind Waker.Even without botw 2 the year is packed for the switch. Bayonetta 3 probably an October game to promote it as a Halloween title. Pokemon and probably another exclusive for November/December. Zelda content has been yearly for a while so a remaster/port/remake is possible too.
I think anybody expecting Bayo 3 better temper their expectations.Even without botw 2 the year is packed for the switch. Bayonetta 3 probably an October game to promote it as a Halloween title. Definitely coming this year. Would've been delayed by now.I think anybody expecting Bayo 3 better temper their expectations.
That could work. Also Grezzo could be developing something too, their last Zelda game was in 2019.We still don't have Switch ports of the WiiU Twilight Princess or Wind Waker.
If you never played the Octo Expansion, it's pretty awesome for single player content.I'm one of the weird ones who buys these games mainly for the campaign lol
I love the mix of platforming and 3rd person shooter with excellent gyro controls(although the gyro aiming in 2 was a bit laggy compared to 1)
Yeah, but Kamiya's been a bit flaky of late, asking Microsoft for money and such. I'm hoping for the best, but bracing for the worst.Definitely coming this year. Would've been delayed by now.

It's legitimately fantastic, one of the best games I've played these past few years. Tons of creative ideas and gameplay scenarios, great atmosphere, fantastic OST and surprisingly challenging.I actually never played the Octo Expansion for 2.

Yeah but remember Bayonetta 3 is being developed with Nintendo money. That's why they have been able to develop the game for 5 years, there's just a few companies that would allow that.Yeah, but Kamiya's been a bit flaky of late, asking Microsoft for money and such. He just blocked you on Twitter for this.Yeah, but Kamiya's been a bit flaky of late, asking Microsoft for money and such. I'm hoping for the best, but bracing for the worst.
I think he literally blocked me because I asked to during the Wonderful 101 kickstarter and I forgot to request to be unblocked. He just blocked you on Twitter for this.
Not sure if it's smart for Nintendo to release Splatoon 3 on the same day they stealth launch Dreamcast games for NSO
I think it's traditionally come out in summer (May/July) for part 1 and 2. Maybe Splatoon 3 just needed a few more months this time? Interesting; I think you're right about the swap.Looks like the release date swap with Xenoblade 3, made more sense since Splatoon would probably sold more close to the holiday season!
Well we know of at least two new core mechanics, the new respawn system and the squid roll move that doubles as a parry of sort. That looks VERY incremental. I hope that there are new fresh gameplay mechanics to justify the 5 years of dev.

1, 2, and 3 are all very similar. They did 2 basically instead of porting 1 over like every other Wii U game. And this is a direct sequel to that. I think it's fair to call these very incremental sequels. Part 2 did add the whole co-op mode and stuff, multiple new weapons, new stages, new campaign. This will probably do that as well. This sounds like a DLC or even a balance patch.
COD and other games do it, the fans have enough sense to scream bloody murder and not buy the games. That looks VERY incremental. I hope that there are new fresh gameplay mechanics to justify the 5 years of dev.
I don't think two new core movement mechanics can be called a "balance patch".This sounds like a DLC or even a balance patch.

Nintendo does it and you get all these apologists coming out of the woodworks.
That's not inflammatory, this is pure objective observation.
I'm wondering how many maps they'll put in this one, and how many will actually be new. I have very little hopes.
This makes is even WORSE that it's such subtle changes. Your "defense" doesn't even remotely justify the issue that these changes are incremental.COD is released every year.
The last Splatoon was released....checks notes....in 2017.
Well at least you'll be mad at them before it even happens. You sure showed that loser.Just watch, Splatoon 3 will have awful P2P networking instead of dedicated servers in 2022, and people will come up with shitty reasons why it's BETTER.
I guess my joke fell flat? I never said you attacked me. I was trying to point out how odd it was that you're trashing an imaginary person that in the future is a p2p online apologist for a game that comes out in 5 months. I thought that was weird!Holy fuck, are you 10, I never attacked you at all, just your precious favorite plastic box maker.
Starting with Ad hominem is not only weak but it's also pathetic and shows how weak your argument is.
As I've stated, I do enjoy SPLATOON, but it's what Nintendo doesn't do with it and now they're asking for $60($80 in CND) for a few tweaks and a map pack.I guess my joke fell flat? P.S. I'll be 10 in September. Going to ask for a Splatoon-themed birthday party. You're not invited.
One would hope, as many companies understand accessibility needs that they'd allow you to change that color in options in 2022, but again this is Nintendo so probably not.I think they need to use more interesting ink colours. They have cool looking ones in splatfest, but I've always felt they can do more. Especially since the ink is so prominent in gameplay. But they continue to use the primary colours
I'd expect Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade 3 to sell less than their predecessors. But you never know?Splatoon 2 sold over 12 fucking million. Gonna be interesting to see if this comes close to that.
