I've been seeing quite alot about this guy recently. The PBS doc, magazine articles, ESPNClassic. I think I even saw a movie based on him with James Earl Jones. Which along with Conan Sunday made him look like a BAD mothafucka when he was younger. Why now? Is it some kind of anniversary?
Anway from what I read he was badass. A boxer that wore gold teeth and fancy clothes. Rode fancy cars and fucked white broads back when niggas was getting lynched like it was a sport. And basically demolished the Great White Hope.
