They’ve been in beta for a long time and now appear to be out in the main product.

Not sure if a gradual release or worldwide, haven’t seen an article yet.

EDIT: I should add that it requires a premium subscription to view them.

I've had videos for a lot of my music for a few months now. Never used the feature once and I probably never will.

Video Killed the Radio Star should be a mandatory first time play for all subscribers. Whatever you choose you first get The Bubbles.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
I'd rather have Spotify bring back the option to like songs in a playlist with a single click or allow paying customers to keep using older versions of their app with the old UI before everything turned to shit.

Spotify has a user forum (with the most incomprehensible organizational layout I've ever seen). That's where people can offer suggestions for new features but I've never ever seen even once suggestion being picked up. They don't listen to their customers at all. Suggestions to restore important features the Spotify managment deemed unimportant will never ever be brought back, it doesn't matter how many support those suggestions gets. It's a an fucking awful company.

Perhaps people should stop paying them.

Oh no, I will lose my 14746 carefully curated playlists of songs i don’t own. Which is why you buy your music…

This, it amazing how the 2010 era client was so much better and responsive compared to the current client.

Though adding music videos makes it a good alternative to Youtube/Vevo, I hope they're uploaded in their original format instead of the AI-butchered versions that have replaced the YouTube versions. From the few that I've seen, theyve preserved the original video and aspect ratio.

if they legit spend money and time sourcing videos, then this is a great addition. There's a lot of songs without their music videos online, especially in decent quality.
