I've been denied for far to long, I need another fix!!!
 
I'd kill for an online enabled Starcraft 2 on revolution. That remote could be the ultimate rts controller. Damn. I;d still want the same type of view, but with detailed 3d models, terrain, and gorgeous effects.
 
Starcraft is STILL popular to a certain extent, I've never seen a game on the store shelf as long as Starcraft. Heck, Starcraft gets more shelf space than some new games, I've seen.
 
Starcraft is the best game ever made... so I'm going to go with Starcraft2. Although I'd really like them to remake Starcraft exactly with high res sprites.
 
All my friends think I'm crazy but I think Blizzard is going for the kill and will have both StarCraft 2 and Diablo III released within 1 year of each other.

It's already been delayed like 2 years.. I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped it. They could get a cheap cash-in due to their name, but they should certainly be raking in cash fast enough with WoW to satisfy Vivendi.
 
Diablo III.

But I'm a total RPG nut, and I've sunk thousands of hours into this series, so that's pretty much a given. :P

I seriously doubt that Blizzard would cancel the game. If they were unhappy with the quality of SC:Ghost, then they wouldn't have purchased Swingin' Ape back in May.

Not going to happen. Sorry, man. As much as I'd love for this to happen, it won't.

Actually, the only way I see this actually happening is if one of these games becomes pay-to-play, and we don't want that, do we?

D3 is farther along than SC2 at this point, most likely because of Ghost. So, I'm going to say WoW:Expansion Fall 2005, SC:Ghost mid-2006, D3 mid 2007, and SC2 mid 2008. Maybe.
 
Yeah, they would be crazy to release DIII and SC2 near each other. Spread them out and theentire Blizzard fanbase is more likely to buy them both. Release them at the same time and it is going to split their audience. Not to mention they take their damn sweet time with releases. If they release both near each other... What are they going to release for the next 5 years besides WoW expansions? I would like to see Blizzard do something new though. Something not related to Warcraft, Diablo, or Starcraft.

You do reliaze by your own estimation, SC2 is released exactly one year after D3. That's not that different than what I'm proposing.

The tease on their site seems to suggest both projects are underway and could be released close to each other. This is Blizzar'ds timescale mind you, which 1 year is close.

We're not talking about EA stats upgraded shovelware.
 
We'll see come E3. But Starcraft is long overdue. The fans want Starcraft. Though I do want Diablo III, I'd rather have SC2 2007, Expansion 2008. Then DIII 2009. Ample spreadage.

edit: Make that early 2007(sc2), and late 2008/early 2009(diablo3)

Me too, but we both know that's not going to happen. They've got a license to print money with those franchises and I don't think even Blizzard have enough pull to convince Vivendi to work on something completely new.
 
I have StarCraft, but I've never played it. The second level of the campaign was just to hard and boring and I'd lose interest after that.
 
Starcraft: Brood War is the single most balanced RTS to date. Nothing can compare! Thusly, I would much rather have Diablo III; I'd rather not have Starcraft's beauty tarnished.

I agree with this in many ways. I'd really like them to remake Starcraft:Brood War still in 2d but with high res sprites.

Blizzard is a company that can make lighting strike twice. I'm sure their next SC will be just as balanced.

Oops, I meant 2009. You just know there will be a Diablo 3 expansion released before SC2.

That's how Blizz works, really. Main game, then expansion, then another game.
 
Starcraft is their best game, they'll never be able to top it. On the other hand, Diablo could use lots of improvement so...

Diablo III.
 
Diablo is boring, repetitive crap. Though I don't think Starcraft is that great either, I'd much rather have a sequel to that.
