StarCraft: Ghost???? where is it?

I have been wondering the same thing. Seems like it was announced so long ago yet its never close to being released.

This thread needs more Bootsguy.

I remember the day it was announced, and the HUUUGGEE fuss surrounding the game/countdown on Bliz's website....

when was that? 2003?

They butchered the Nova character imo.

EDIT: But happily the version they showed at Blizzcon just now is redesigned and the best yet.

Apparantly the Cube version died:

i hear the PS2 version was cancelled a while ago.

anyways, i think i like bootsguy better than wallguy. although Wallguy did sorta hit another level after that one flash that i think Mikeworks made.

I saw new pics less than a week ago, but i can't for the life of me remember where.
I was thinking xboxyde but can't find them anymore..they did some restyling to the chara design, main character looks different now.

EDIT : Xboxyde it is

Omg, looks like PDZ !!11

the last pic makes me think of a Starcraft MMORPG, heh.

That was so totally clear to me:

SC:G cancelled for Cube, Question was posed at a Q&A-Round at Blizzcon. Game will be released on PS2 and XBox...

I so saw this comming. Wasn't it initially Cube-exclusive? But the Multiplayer is so concentrated on LAN/Onlineplay that I had no doubt that either the Multiplayerpart would be cut out on the Cube Version or the whole game would be cancelled... :[[[ <- Was my thoughts; the above statement is true to the source (Cube version canned)

i don't think it was ever an exclusive for any console, afaik. maybe they're saying the multiplayer has been dropped from the Cube version.... that'd better be the fucking case, rather than the entire game being cancelled for the GC, or I'm going to blow a fuse :P

A lot of you guys in this thread sound as if you've never played/waited for a Blizzard game before. The truth is that NOBODY (including the Blizzard guys themselves probably) have no idea when a game will be released until at least three months before the release date. With the exception of WoW, it was like that for Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 and every other damn Blizzard game I can remember.

The should delay it to next gen...

no one cares about it anymore anyway

next gen is coming in few months and this games doesn't even have a release date.. or does it?

Well releasing this after the Xbox 360 and PS3 hit store shelves might not be the best idea. It has the StarCraft name, but if this game doesn't get that many good reviews then I don't think it will take off.

So far this game doesn't look like anything special. I guess time will tell.
