I'm pretty sure the Tok'ra and/or Jaffa will be options as well. You can pretty much shoehorn both races into class stapes anyway (Tok'ra more proficient with technical arts and the Jaffa are more inclined to physical combat). The humans are in the middle. But still, I don't see why they are even bothering with this (and I like the show so it's not like I'm a hater or anything). Nothing even stands a chance with WoW on the market. I'd love to see MMORPG marketshare, I'm certain WoW probably owns atleast 80% of it.

I had never seen the series but liked the movie. Then saw an episode of sg-1 on tv and laughed..no way would that be successful. Then yrs later a friend had the season dvd's and told me to watch some over the weekend. I was hooked.
TV series on dvd is the best...no waiting a week for the next episode..no waiting 6 months for the next season, etc. SG-1 was pretty damn good. Jack (McGyver) was a crackup. So if you dont like the show based on a couple spot checks on tv, try renting season1 or borrow from a friend. It will get you hooked.
Atlantis has me hooked now..cept I have to wait for the new weekly shows.

Another option that might exist for a playable race would be the Unas perhaps?
He was one of the better (best!) characters in the series. Still, he isn't in it anymore (hasn't been for a while) so you can't use that excuse.Xenon said:
I'm still bummed the FPS got cancelled. Even though I wasn't really impressed by it, I'd rather they'd push it to next-gen.. even if that'd mean a few years more dev time.

Actually, I think the series are degrading since the 7th season.
ontopic: pity that they don't seem to throw in Asgard, Nox and other races. As every race has it's (dis)advantages, it could make the game more lasting.

Where the Goa'uld could win in numbers (plus: convert people, just like the Ori), the Asgard could be limited in numbers.

If I remember correctly, from various story details mentioned it sounded like Alliance would've fit in Season 8-ish, so Teal'c would be haired.Chris_C said:
