So me and my GF are going to be chilling at my flat tonight, she wanted to watch a movie and made strict rules that i could not rent a scary movie, war movie or what she called a strange movie" example: the machinist, memento, mullholland drive" those kind of movies, so i guess she wants to watch a "lean back and turn your brain of" type of movie

so gaffers any ideas what i should rent?

she likes romantic movies, but they cant be only about romans, she wants to laugh aswell.

hmm yes i know, and she hates jim carrey! so nothing with him in it.

i was thinking to introduce her to "the trumanshow" or ED tv i am sure she has not yet seen them but the truman show has jim carrey starring in it so i dont know if it will be that popular with her, even though jim is great in that film

If you want something to spur the mind : 12 Angry Men: original B&W version or Maltese Falcon: Humphrey Bogart. Nice easy girly, but still very fun movie: Bringing Up Baby

Wait.. a steady gf? For how many days has this gone on? :lol Anyway, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Weird, and has Jim Carrey, and it's fucking awesome! Funny romantic weird movie. But anyway, Jim Carrey hater dater.. Team America is funny and has a bit of romance in it. That'd be the best choice. Maybe Hitch, as it's a romantic comedy. Never seen it though. Terminator for a classic. Arnold's got the punchlines, sarah and kyle romance, and bonus action. Or...

It even says romantic comedy on the cover. It was pretty decent actually, and definitely a turn the brain off flick.
