(New) Tomb Raider is 25 bucks on GreenMan Gaming today, with 50% off.
With the other 20% off coupon, it comes to 20 bucks.
I have 10 bucks credit on GMG, which would make it 10 bucks.

Hmmmm...

How much you think Tomb Raider gon' be on the Steam summer sale?

I'm betting 50% off.

I'm only debating buying Tomb Rider because I don't know if I'll play it before a price drop.

Hmm... if these are the prices in late April imagine what they will be in July when Steam sale drops.

That getgamego bundle is calling me though. Is Sniper Elite V2 worth $12? Because I know Sonic is worth $12.

Wait, accents are genetic?

I went full Irish and I didn't have the benefit of a god damn accent while dating.

Not the place for that, but you have a bizarre metric for satisfaction.
So I've been told lol. I realize that, but I'm totally fine with being easily satisfied in games. It allows me to enjoy a lot more stuff than I would have if I were as picky as I am with food or something.

I... I tried hard to come up with something funny to reply to this. But I can't. There's nothing funny about this.

I can't even joke about that ending. You know what? I'll let YOU choose instead what do you want me to post. You can make me write in green, red or blue. And because some "vocal minorities" complained, you can now refuse to choose too!
I thought that was pretty funny lol

What's going on with CS:GO?

Poker Night 2 is going to be released in an hour.

So GOG has some game for 50% off including La Mulana and Hotline Miami. I've never bought anything there, so does anyone know if they can be redeemed on Steam?

Why would you want to add DRM to them??

What's going on with CS:GO?
Valve spells it out quite clearly:

Time left until gifting is possible: 10 minutes

Your serial(s) will be available in about 10 minutes. In the meantime, you can start downloading the game.

Groan. This serves no beneficial purpose whatsoever.

What's going on with CS:GO?

A CS:GO tab popped up on the Steam Market, so it's presumably going F2P.

Edit: ^ Or that.

haha weird that people are trying to sell passes starting from $3.87 when its $2.99 in store. maybe people in other countries are getting worse prices?

There's a similar situation with the tradeable Killer Exclusive hat you earn by purchasing an episode of PC Gamer Digital being worth more than the episode itself.

that sucks to hear. I was thinking about playing it this weekend.

what's so bad about it? or was your experience with Alan Wake proper just that good?

I enjoyed American Nightmare, but my main issue with it is that there were three levels that just get repeated several times. Playing through them the first time was cool, but then when you have to play through them again it's like "Oh god, what".

I mean, I liked the idea from a story perspective, but in practice it made it kind of dull.

JaseC

It lacks the atmosphere and environment design that makes the first one so special.

The game was oh-so-clearly hamstrung by the 2GB XBLA size limit; the levels are tiny and many textures simply awful (e.g. the car in the first level -- I think the N64 can lay claim to superior texture work).

It's not bad at all. The fights are faster, more weapons and i liked the quirky atmosphere. Yes, the repeats aren't the best idea ever but every location is nicely designed and you can run through them pretty fast if you want to get it over with. Also the survival mode is pretty awesome.

yeah, I'll give it a shot since it's already installed. I think I want to blast through some more of my shorter games.

I'm seeing $21.73 for the Sleepy Dogs pack, and a quick search suggests it isn't Aussie Taxed.

American Nightmare was good, its true that they make you "repeat" the areas but they change enough each time to make it interesting. Plus, the Club Foot song

Alan Wake is a really underrated game in general, the combat isnt nearly as bad as people say and the environments and atmosphere are some of the best of any gamr Ive played

The issue people have with the combat isn't that it's bad, but rather nothing is done to change it up outside of introducing tougher enemies that require more light to disperse the darkness.

I must wait until Humble bundle. I hope Humble provides something better then this. Because the new Indie Royale seems hard to beat.

I think I don't have that yet, only Deception. edit: Wait, Deception is included in the bundle? Then someone should grab it who doesn't own any of them.

I guess, but they do a good job of making the player move around and naturally have tense moments happen, which might be tougher to do with a variety of weapons or different mechanics

Plus those possessed items were pretty different

Nope, Deception is not included in the blackwell bundle, it's a different key altogether. It's only the first three games. Still interested I take it? :)

This is a nice bundle indeed. However, Only game I don't have in it is Dungeon Hearts, which happens to be a game I really have no interest in.

I'll wait until the next games show up to decide if I should buy or not.

Okay so I've tried waiting out the steam trading thread, but to no avail.

One quick shout out can't hurt right?

Anyone have a copy of civ v laying around in their inventory that they would want 5 dollars worth of steam games for?

PM me.

On a related note: I got a pretty sweet deal on a visit to a pay toilet the other day.
That bad, huh? I thought the first one was alright. The good thing about getting this bundle, for me anyways, is I can give my friend the code for the original that way it'll be more enjoyable.
Why did I buy the second? I dunno, I have a bad habit of buying things on sale when they are redeemable on Steam.

I think, for the most part, if you enjoyed the first one you'll probably get some enjoyment out of the second one. So I wouldn't worry too much.
