Some of the menus were cut off for me in the HQWell this is unexpected but not only does XCOM support 2.35:1 out the box it actually works way better than I thought it would.
I'm going to bloody buy that monitor now aren't i?
Yeah I've just noticed it crops the prerendered scenes as well. Still it does give a better overview of the map and isn't too much of a pain swapping resolutions at anytime.

I abstain from playing from Ironman for personal reasons (mainly due to bugs), but you should be okay, if not wanting a little more challenge. The base stuff is kind of iffy to learn but you'll get the hang of it before too long. FWIW, I started out on Normal and I had played my fair share of SRPGs. My First save would've been easily salvageable if I didn't want to start over in order to choose my base location again.
The most incredible stories, be it tragic or epic, can come from yourself.
To this day I still think of my lone valiant Captain Austin from FTL, who sacrificed himself and fought with a Mantis squad to his asphyxia death just to buy time and save the rest of his wounded crew.

Exactly. The stories that stick with me tend to be ones that aren't scripted. The only one that was scripted that I really enjoyed in recent memory is[Fallout New Vegas DLC Spoilers]
Ulysses in Lonesome Road, and that was because Obsidian knows the universe do damn well since they were the ones who made it.

Man I wish I could have two filters I could turn on and keep on with the storefront: mobile ports, and early access. I don't mind having the option to see them but man the new releases section can get so cluttered.

I just checked the ban record and GRIEF.EXE wasn't banned for saying xbone. Now that that's resolved, did we ever figure out what the gas mask game was in the upcoming Groupees bundle?

I'd like something of the sort too for Early Access. Even some indication that it's in early access stage without me having to click on it would be good enough. Not against the concept in any way but I have zero interest in taking part in the alpha/beta of games.

Yeah I use it but I'm in the client a lot of times (and I don't feel comfortable in installing the client version of Enhanced Steam just yet). In any case, displaying Early Access to me is a waste of space so having a toggle that switched those to full games would be better advertising in my case.
Why would anyone preorder a 6/10 game?
That's what the game informer thread tells me anyway. But on topic, they said it was coming "soon" like 3 or 4 days ago.
