This is horrible.

Running With Rifles is coming to Early Access tomorrow

I highly recommend it. I thought it captured the chaos of war between than CoD or BF ever did.

Looks good man. How playable is it in its current state?

Watching 0.93 version on youtube. Love the colors and design in the game.

Sorry if I'm late to the party on this, have kinda been out of it today and yesterday.

I just saw that the game "Zombies" was renamed to Corporate Lifestyle Simulator on Steam, and that Groupees has Steam keys for Build a Bundle 4 purchasers (the game is still listed as "Zombies").

On another note, the new Groupees account page is very nice.

I'm glad he decided to release the updated version. From his Twitter tirade, it kind of sounded like he was going to strip out months of work to spite people.

Nothing about Uncharted 2 was really really good.

Uncharted 2 has its flaws but it's multiplayer was fucking brilliant....until Naughty Dog completely fucked it up. Then they did an Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta which was great.....until Naughty Dog completely fucked it up. They can never leave their multiplayer games alone and end up ruining them.

It's also much much better than Tomb Raiders shittastic multiplayer which was godawful in every way, this is coming from someone who enjoyed TR single player quite a bit.

Well, I don't regret the hour or so I spent with Antichamber, but after finding the first gun and messing around with it a bit, I think I'm done. I kind of feel like I've seen the extent of what the game has to offer, even if I haven't seen all its variations on the theme.

Maybe it's just not "gamey" enough for me, but the maze full of 3D parlor tricks just didn't grab me the way Portal did (the closest comparison I can think of). And my backlog is too big to spend more time on a game that I could take or leave.

Valve would regret putting this feature up.

I doubt it. When there's no actual feedback for other people to see as a result of a thing someone submits, you remove a lot of the incentive for people to grief in the first place. People just want records of their chaos and attention, actually causing a disturbance apropos of anyone being able to see it is way lower on the list.

I bought the bundle twice but didn't add Zombies in either case, or it was one of those annoying instances where Groupees added a non-bonus game to the bundle, which isn't added to the the accounts of existing purchasers retroactively. Regardless, woe is me.

The report feature is a necessity should Valve be serious about the self-publishing venture.

It's going to get abused to hell though, wait for the next AAA game to piss everyone off and their system is going to get swamped!

It's like the metacritic user rating - but with more serious consequences!

Seriously though, they presumably have the systems in place to prevent trolling.

At least I hope they do.

Valve?

Still playing through South Park. It's a fun game and I'm actually enjoying the battle mechanics, so it might inspire me to check out similar games in the future. From what I've heard, I'm just under halfway through the main story but it feels like it's just about to properly kick off narrative wise.

Soon as I'm done with this (not planning to rush, loving every second so far) I'm going to properly start Papers Please.

I bet you that when the game companies pull some shenanigans, gamers would go on steam to report the games just to fuck with them.

Very playable. I actually reviewed it back in October and the last build was in December. It's kind of freeform, but the hectic feel of the combat is great and really feels like you're in the midst of this large conflict where frontlines are constantly changing. There's a demo here

Yeah, like sending bad store tags and user reviews and bombing metacritic. Things people can take notice of.

If you take two seconds to think about it, as long as they're not breaking any actual Steam TOS, you already know you're more productive doing just about anything else anywhere else.

I'd imagine that accounts found to be abusing the system will be banned from reporting, and on a related note reporting should be limited to those who actually own the game in question, or at least a game, if it isn't already, otherwise those with an agenda could just register dupe accounts and keep at it.

Yeah you have a point.

Sounds real good. I will definitely pick this up tomorrow.

Is that..is that Lord Gaben in his younger days?

Popcorn for the Dark Souls 2 release.

Oh yeah, forgot about that!

I'm presuming that the pre-release stuff must have been PC footage though (unless there have been new developments). I wondered why the PC version was suddenly announced out of nowhere with weeks to go.

Not to sound cynical, but part of me thinks that they actually planned on releasing that version far later before realising that the majority of their pre release footage was highlighting visuals that weren't going to be appearing on the initial launch, haha.

Could be something completely different of course, I'm just speculating.

Went back to Super House of Dead Ninjas after a long while and managed to beat One Armed Ninja (for the first time) and Abarghus in the first few tries. Feels good man. I'll tackle hard mode some other time though.

Yeah, they'd most likely have a system in place to flag repeated abuses. I'm still unsure over how self-publishing is going to work though. If it's literally enabling anyone to upload projects to the main storefront then I hope Valve retain some sort of control over what gets put up - it'd be horrible if Steam turned into the Play store and its endless Flappy Bird clones.

Also, Football Manager is on sale...again. If I had the cash I'd buy that instantly - might just hold off for the next version now though. Good sales this week though.

Ah, I need to buy the Russian version.

Edit: Oh, that's right, there is no Russian version. I need to buy the Korean version!

Edit edit: Oh, the Korean version is limited to retail. :(

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Amazon price matched Steam's discount on NBA 2k14, which activates on Steam.

Some people have $5 coupons for the game that still apply from when they were offering $5 off the pre-order back in September.

I'm trying to decide if I want to spend $5 on this...

And then Jase visited the korean peninsula

Steam having comics and movies could actually get me to read comics and watch movies

I have over 110 hours in it, though I am a big time NBA fan. There is a Space Jam mod for it that is well worth the $5

So with this whole custom storefront thing that might happen, let's say one storefront does hentai games or porn games only. Is the idea here that you could buy it on their store and it will add to your Steam library?

That would be pretty cool, and maybe make games even cheaper too.

Uuh nice indeed!

While I was checking out used keys I noticed the good ol somewhat bundle containing Doctor Who Adventures Ep 1-5. Looking at its product details it doesn't say, so I'm asking here if when it comes to Steam keys will be spread to this bundle too.

Hmm

I somehow have the coupon for this. I'll probably buy this for a friend; thanks for sharing, jshackles.

It is a very, very minor improvement over 2k13...but still a solid basketball game.

I hate basketball and managed to put 30 hours into NBA2k14.

It's a good game.

That too. The only negative thing I'll say about it is that it's almost the same game as 2K13 was, but the new animations actually do make a good difference and the blocking actually feels like blocking now
