Wow, and I thought my 1€ card sells were noteworthy. Gonna get CS:GO for sure now. I love fps anyway. But at 14€ ? Gonna wait for a sale. Many thanks for your info ef!

No problem. It probably won't be $3.75 again, but it should most certainly be at least 50% off ($7.50). Well worth it if you enjoy it, and still worth it if you want to idle for your drops!

Wow I tried out a ranged build in Magicite for the first time and it kicks the crap out of melee. My past runs I barely made it past District 10 and on my first try with a bow I made it to the final boss. I ended up dying right at the end because I forgot to restock on arrows on the last room and didn't have an axe but otherwise it was much easier to get through the game. With how enemies don't react at all until you are within a certain distance and how the more powerful melee weapons have such a long start up, there seems to be pretty much zero reason to go melee.

Can't finish ac4. Is super boring. Still ~40% completed and I always 100% all previous AC games. I really want to finish it but the naval shit is ughhhh super boring to sail to missions. :'(

Nope. Foil badges are worth 100 XP just like their regular cousins.
What a shame, gonna sell and badge normal cards. I would love to find a way to add lots of friend slots at once. Bookmarked ~50 people but no place :(
I also noticed that after reaching Level 10, I now need 200xp instead of 100xp for next level :(
Since CS:GO badge cost 0,30c, is it possible to buy a set, craft badge and repeat till Level 5 badge and get cumulative 1500xp for 1,50 bucks?

Once you fill out the world markers you can minimize sailing quite a bit with fast traveling.

um. Have we talked about this little gem yet?

Humble trying to tap that well dry.

Haven't they been doing that for a while now? As in putting their past bundles on the store for a week later for the slacker/indecisive crowd at a slightly higher price, oh and no option to select where your money is directed either.

DO NOT GO INTO THE TERMINATOR THREAD IN OT.

that shit got NSFW real fast.

That's like reverse physiology. I may as well say don't think of gorillas and you immediately think of gorillas the moment you read this.

WOOOOO!

Just picked up my copy of Crypt of the Necrodancer for 5 keys! Only 6 games away from my 400 mark, and my list on the way up there is gonna be great. Gonna probably pick up the next game on my list either Killer is Dead or Yaiba sometime next week, now I'm trying to think what game I can make be my special number 400. and now today we get this new Indie Royale bundle, but I don't think I'm gonna jump on it for the sole purpose of not wanting those games to be my number 400 -____-. I still might get it though and save the codes for later haha.

So Nicalis announced Castle in the Darkness coming "soon 2014" to Steam. Genre: Retro Action Exploration Platformer. They say: "Inspired by games like Castlevania, Megaman, Kirby, Metroid, Zelda, I Wanna Be The Guy, Ys and a lot more, look forward to a very challenging open-world game that is full of references, secrets, monsters, items, and modes! ". Not quite feeling it just watching the trailer but I guess it might be cool?

I was ready to give it up because of the terrible performance but this patch was a godsend. Had a great time with the game, it didn't really deserve all that hate.

It still lags terribly however when I try to record footage with Shadowplay :(

So the latest patch fixed the terrible stuttering and general performance for you? I should probably look into the game again haven't touched it since release.

I'm doing that. Still super boring and repetitive. I love to run through the city or doing parkour in the forest.
All the boat related things are super repetitive en AC4. Almost all the time I quit when I need to go to a mission and there is no near fast travel.

Selfish commie bastard that I am, no, not usually.
Anyone feeling bothered by that, feel free to use the BLACKLIST feature, no need for (more) drama ITT

noted.. apparently clicking a link and typing a few words is too much for some people.

You'll have to tell us how it is! \o/ That game looks really cool!

Oh my, 400. I'd make it something awesome, too!

Generally yes, although it tends to still lag a little bit when driving at night while raining. Had to play with some settings on the Nvidia Control Panel to optimize it even better. I have a 2 GB GTX 760 by the way and I played with everything on Ultra except textures which I set on high because of my VRAM

How come? Because of budget?

First and foremost, they're very different projects.

I'm assuming you're comparing them on the one thing they have in common: being character action games, and for a number of reasons MGR is bound to come out on top with this criteria.

Platinum specialises in well crafted character action games with complex battle mechanics. Grasshopper and Suda are much more about exploring provocative themes (often sexism and violence), focusing on aesthetics and morally challenging experiences.

Tl;dr: MGR is more superb hand craft, while KiD is more of a modern art project.
