Edit: Millenium 2 is finally available.

uhhh I really want this D: The first one was great loved it. But gonna hold off couple months and pick it up even cheaper. Backlog is too big anyway.

Also I could of sworn I read somewhere that all 4 of the remaining millennium games were greenlit and coming to steam simultaneously. I guess they just gonna release one at a time.

Playing Portal 2 with the latest Steam Controller. Had to blur it for....reasons.

If I have to take a guess the button layout might have changed again, or they added a proper D-pad after the backlash, but they're not ready to reveal it yet.

I have been playing sleeping dogs for this past few days. I'm feeling bad for getting this game dirt cheap. This game is Fucking amazing.

The game is excellent, it was my GOTY 2012.

never played Saints Row IV before. Which one should I get on Steam? kinda wanna get 3rd since I love that game but I never play IV before.

If you already Platinum'd Third, get IV. It's a brilliant game, I absolutely loved every minute of it. It's also the best Matrix game ever.

Just get the complete pack when it's on sale again and be sure to play Saints Row 2 as well, it's arguably the best of the bunch (once you get it running correctly).

Eh, SR2 is the most down to earth yes, but definitely not the best and not my favourite.

This has got to be the first time someone has asked how an fps will work on the controller.

People were worried that this was too focused on the demands of an fps.

Huh, that's the first thing coming to my mind. Having played fps mainly on pc, playing on consoles feels not direct enough. Sniping or using bows is almost impossible for me with controllers. The same game played on pc results in a whole different playstyle. Instead of spraying it's more controlled shots that hit.

I mean look at this.

This doesn't look like the precise gameplay mouse and keyboard delivers.
But as always, it's good that it'll come. More options are always good/lead to good things. And I'm sure there'll be gamers who'll main the steam controller.

well, technically the trackpads can function as that due to haptic and software stuff At least in native mode. Legacy mode didn't impress a lot of people.

Of course Steam Controller won't be equal to mouse and keyboard. Nobody is saying that. The question here is "does it perform better than a dual stick controller?". To find out about that we need two things: the final product (we have only seen prototypes of the controller so far. This is not something that has really happened before. Or do you remember the public getting access to DS4 prototypes or XBOX 360 prototypes?) and someone who has enough experience with the controller (so naturally just some journalist trying it out at show floor won't cut it).

Mouse and keyboard is not something that can be ideally setup to work on couch. That's the whole reason Steam controller exists.

Only to an extent: the MP used GameSpy for some asinine reason. Capcom spent about three months bankrolling a patch that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
