Steam Replay 2025 Is Live

jshackles

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

I was a little surprised that Satisfactory played such a little role in my playtime this year. Turns out most of my playtime was last year and I only recently picked it up again.

I'm surprised I spent so much time on Palworld, Helldivers 2 checks out, played it a lot with my chums. Went back to Returnal and cleaned up the remaining achievements.
Palworld contributes to Colony Sim together with Critter Cove & Luma Island. Jjust installed My Time at Sandrock.
Personal highlights would be replaying Spyro Trilogy for the third time (100%'ed it, again), and Arkham Knight, both at glorious 120fps + 2x FG.

Spent a lot of time on emulators too, if Nintendo sold on PC Animal Crossing would have been #1.

Got a Steam Deck OLED halfway through the year and love it. Other games I enjoyed were Slots and Daggers and Death Howl.

2nd year learning a controller, but finally getting somewhat decent with it.

Bought a lot less games than the last few years and actually played them

Didn't play a lot of videogames this year, and some of them were just a quick session to check them out lol.

Other cool games that I've played this year: Binary Domain, Thief, System Shock 2, UFO 50, the LEGO LOTR game and Unreal.

My lack of consumerism this year really shows.

CS/ GTA V/ Dirt Rally 2/ Halo MCC/ RDR2 / BF4/ Yugioh Master Duel

New games : 1, Arc Raiders playtest but never actually played it due to crashing on Steam Deck so basically 0 LOL

Am I blind or are they not showing the actual hours on here? I have a known game on there that I can derive from, and it looks like there was a total of 375 hours over the year. There are about 50 hours there where my wife was finishing up bg3 on my account instead of hers for some reason. So that leaves about 325 hours.

Strangly, it's reporting like 30 hours of skyrim, which is not true. I had a machine I was testing stuff on. Quite low spec and I think I tried skyrim on it, but maybe I left it open for a long time? Or maybe it was the skyrim launcher that got left open? idk. That's weird. It ends up as my 3rd most played game. So that leaves around 295 hours for me.

105 of it was wanted dead lol. 105 hours in a 6 hour game.

Eh, this whole layout seems kind of annoying to use. So many games at <1%. That's because I was testing tons of games on that low spec tablet. Looks like what I really played this year was wanted dead, Space marine 1+2, Indiana Jones, NGB2, Dungeon Seige 1, Turok, then some cyberpunk and warframe over the last couple weeks.

So this is lining up with what I saw from my playstation recap. Looks like I might have spent like 40% steam, 30% ps5, and 30% other (retro) this year, and it might average out to like 10 hours a week of gaming. Which is pretty good!

I also played a ton of Path of Exile 2 but it has it's own launcher. Also all the emulator stuff and GoG games won't show here of course.

Oh yeah and I think it was 2025 when I played Aegis Rim: 13 Sentinels on the Nintendo Switch as well.

Damn Playing both KCD 1&2 was amazing. And last minute going back to Death Stranding was so worth it. Unique and I loved it. This was an excellent year for both new games and my backlog.

And I love souls likes so even beyond this list I've gone back to Sekiro and Lies of P which I never thought I could beat but am getting through now. I loved this year of gaming.
