Chiyomaru Shikura has announced that there will be another entry in the Steins;Gate franchise, which will be called Steins;Gate 0, and will include both a visual novel and an anime.

There’s not much information yet, except that Zero takes place in the beta timeline, that a new character seems to be joining the cast, and that there are new outfits.

Beta is when the world line is above 1%, I think it's been awhile since I've seen the anime.

The Vita version needs to come out already so I can finally read it

In any case, cannot WAIT. I really hope the localized versions of the PS3/Vita S;G coming soon will do well enough that we could see this localized as well.

Oh wow, that is fantastic news. Steins;Gate is one of my favorite anime of all time and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the visual novel on the Vita later this year. More Okabe and company is definitely a good thing.

Not a new character but Maho Hiyajo, acquaintance of Kurisu, whose first appearance was in the Epitaxy of the Projected Curved Surface 'drama CD', which certainly implies (as later has been confirmed) this could be in part an adaptation of The Epigraph Trilogy (within the 'β World Line' attractor field).

Certainly the main 'drama CDs' with subtitles in English were more readily available before by way of our commendable translator Reading Steiner, but as the YouTube links and by extension his own account were obliterated since, he has considered releasing them in other ways... so please, if you are interested in these and other future translations be sure to check for his personal site.
