Streaming services selling Image Quality

This is completely absurd. The purpose of these services should be selling content and convincing people they have the best one.

The way people watch that content shouldn’t be up to them. Limiting how many devices might be acceptable since that affects how many people subscribe to those services, but the image quality is ridiculous!

If the content is 1080p natively that’s ok, but limiting that so you pay for it, should be considered stealing.

If they make us pay for 4K then I would expect EVERYTHING be 4K, which it isn’t the case.

The worst offender obviously is Netflix which they even had a 480p plan not too long ago, but still limits to 720p in some plans. The worst part is that Max followed their rip-off practices when they switched from HBO.

If they are so confident in their content, they should price their plan based on that, not on he people watch that content.

YouTube tv compression is garbage and crushes everything. Highly disappointed with their streaming quality.
