Stuck in conker

Buggy Loop

The f@#^# tower during the war, you get into a tank, there's a huge machine gun on top of the tower, you cross the bridge as conker to bring them down then cross them by tank, destroying the pillars. All's dandy, cept the last fucking bridge, i simply cant jump to it since there's no damn rock area near the gears, i've tried everything, there must be something im missing.

Mate, you can jump across them like all the others... i never noticed any difficulties with that last one

EDIT: just get as close to the edge as you can and then do the crouch high jump and tail spin... you should be fine

Just finished the game last night. That part was a bit frustrating, but I never used the crouching jump to make it through that level.

I thought the game was fairly easy up until I got to that part. I couldn't make that last bridge either. Took like 20 tries spanned over 3 days or so before I finally made it.

What I did was to stand on the edge of the metal part and then jup to the side of the bridge. Use the tail spin to hover around the side, between the concrete hinge thing and the bridge.

Instead of trying to jump over, I went around the side. Once I tried that, I got it on my first try.

Cool, got it after god knows how many tries, i was aiming to get on the other side while i just had to turn sooner and get on the raised bridge >_<

Anyway, finished the game a few moments ago. Eh.. seems kinda rushed. Oh well, decent platformer, mostly a visual candy ride than a gameplay experience.

Hated that part. Not because of the last bridge but rather the tank controlleed like garbage and shooting the teddy's won't kill them unless you actually hit them; there's no splash damage for that bigass explosion from teh tank's cannons. Ridiculous.

Yeah you just have to jump and tail spin across right. Try to actually land on the bridges that are up instead of going straight across.

But yeah I finished Conker: Live & Reloaded last week and to be quite honest, I was somewhat disapointed. The story wasn't all that great, and the controls are a little too rough for a platformer. Overall I enjoyed it, but I can't help but be a little disapointed.

The way Rare fucked with the controls in that segment made it 10x harder than the N64 version. Took me about 7 tries thanks to those damn Tediz...

so what was with the rumor that there is a non censored version of the game?

i beat the game and started a new file and still bleeped out.
then tried the file i beat it on and no matter what it brings me back to the last boss battle again and again.

then tried selecting a chapter in the chapter selection area and again no bad words.

so i am guessing that it was nothing but a rumor.

You have to unlock it from multiplayer. But even then, it's only the words themselves (in the text bubbles) that are uncensored -- the actual dialog is still bleeped out.

Yeah, after hearing about how this game ROXORED for the N64 I was massively dissapointed with the game. Looks pretty though.

Im stuck on the hoverboard lava race. Should I try to finish the game, or are the best parts over already?

The trick to that part...Just hold forward the entire time, non-stop, and you can catch the cavemen relatively easy. If you're that far in you should probably keep going...The war part is pretty fun.

ahh, i see.

not what i thought at all.

thanx

i found it to be way easier now compared to the 64 version.

i wanna just think that i have had that much more gaming practice since then. ;)

it still amazes me that Nintendo allowed CBFD to be released on the 64 with all the profanity, sex references, etc, and microsoft the mature company wouldnt

I didnt even know i was supposed to shoot the pillars on the towers at first... i just killed all the enemies while sneaking from the main turret... when i got to the end i just shot all the pillars (since i sat there shooting the top of the tower for 30 minutes) at the bottom.
