...my son is watching Spy Kids on the Disney channel, and it's the first time I've personally seen any of it. Now, as I'm watching the movie unfold, the main villain (Fegan Floop) catches my attention. Something about him seems very familiar; and it hits me.

Probably seeing something that's not there, but it really does seem like this zany Spy Kids villain is an inspiration for the equally ecentric star of the Adult Swim show.

I always saw the willy wonka similarities, but this seems even more apt. The guy even has his own super jail type island, mad scientist and lackey
