Whichever one had Resident Evil 9.

Oh I agree last years was better. I don't think any of the shows this year were great, just noticing the variation. Looking at Geoff's polls for example as of right now:

Xbox - 67.6% give it a B or higher (63.4k votes - polling is still open)

SGF - 54.8% give it a B or higher (118k votes)

SoP - 51% give it a B or higher (152k votes)

With that, Xbox looks like the clear winner of the 3 with SoP being the worst. On GAF though it's currently 50% for SoP as the "winner". So I just figure it's either a skewed Sony fanbase here or a larger representation of Japanese style game enthusiasts here, since SoP had the largest proportion of that.
This forum definitely has a lot of love for Japanese games vs what is more mainstream like CoD/Fortnite but Twitter/X has a bunch of xbox "personalities" who shill the crap out of it on that social media platform and some commonly troll competitors. Kloberille, Colteastwood, Tom Warren, Gaz, PeteOvO, etc. They often rally the troops in these events. I wouldn't trust that poll more than Neogaf.

*Xbox Show was awful in highlighting upcoming releases and had none of the cool new stuff from the previous shows. Sony's felt like it was for the modern audience outside of Nioh 3 and MK Kollection.

I rated both Sony's and Microsoft's showings with a B. Both had decent shows, with no clear winner.

Almost everything is multiplatform anyway. Doesn't matter where it gets shown.

State of Play so far. It didn't have a lot of games, but a lot of them were things I'm interested in, including some PSVR2 titles.
Summer Game Fest show had more games I'm interested in, but also a ton of games I'm not.
Xbox Direct had some high points (like Mudang), but missing Fable and Perfect Dark was huge. Also CoD ending was fucking stupid.
They focused on showing new games instead of more trailers of games they've already shown. I appreciate that. Planet of Lana II, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Keeper were all surprises. I would've liked to see something new from Rare (God knows what's happened to Everwild). but overall I think the Xbox showcase was very strong. It's just not about Xbox that much anymore, so it's not what it used to be.

I had an incredible long weekend with the Mrs for her birthday and it sounds like it's didn't miss much of anything.

Super hyped for resident evil and quite a few games to be honest.

Xbox show had some good games but I wasn't a fan of the show really.

I'll need to go back and watch Sonys and the summer game fest to vote but that sounds like a waste of life too.

Microsoft's showcase had a lot of games, but "forgetting" about Forza Horizon 6 and Gears E-Day ruined it for me.

We didn't have a megaton announcement in any of the showcases tbh (and no HL3 ;)). RE9 was expected, another Plague Tale game is probably the biggest surprise.

The one with Nioh 3. And the demo is incredible. It's so satisfying to play, better than Nioh 2. Also we know this game won't come soon, if ever, on Xbox. It's as exclusive as the others first-party PS games.

Have to give the win to Xbox, maybe my expectations were so rock bottom low but they did surprise me. Tons of shit that will make it worth having gamepass in 2026.

I think SOP was really good.

Same for Xbox show. Outer Worlds 2 and Clockwork Revolution edges out a bit for me, they had substantial showing.

Games in SOP were shown briefly in comparison.
