Since there are so many shows that come out each season and there's usually
not have enough time to look into everything coming out, many GAFfers interested in anime often look to the specific communities to help identify some of the upcoming shows each season that they may be interested in. Below is a quick reference for some of the stuff that is coming out that includes input from both the Manga and Anime and LN Communities, collectively.

Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Souma: Ni no Sara)

Second Season of Food Wars!:
Ever since he was a child, fifteen-year-old Souma Yukihira has helped his father by working as the sous chef in the restaurant his father runs and owns. Throughout the years, Souma developed a passion for entertaining his customers with his creative, skilled, and daring culinary creations. His dream is to someday own his family's restaurant as its head chef.
Yet when his father suddenly decides to close the restaurant to test his cooking abilities in restaurants around the world, he sends Souma to Tootsuki Culinary Academy, an elite cooking school where only 10 percent of the students graduate. The institution is famous for its "Shokugeki" or "food wars," where students face off in intense, high-stakes cooking showdowns.
As Souma and his new schoolmates struggle to survive the extreme lifestyle of Tootsuki, more and greater challenges await him, putting his years of learning under his father to the test.

Manga GAF says: The show has romance with a small sci-fi twist; it delivers on the feels. Fans of more subdued romance should find plenty to like here, but the background plot is plenty compelling as well. Love the characters as well, this is definitely my show of the summer. I think this one will become a favorite just like its manga has and this will almost certainly be a complete adaption of the manga.

Berserk (2016)

Mob Psycho 100:

The story revolves around "Mob," a boy who will explode if his emotional capacity reaches 100%. This boy with psychic powers earned his nickname "Mob" because he does not stand out among other people. MangaGAFsays: The show features a very inappropriately dressed exorcists for their time period, that continue their battle against the Beetlejuice inspired antagonists, this time delving into the past of Kanda Yu. If you liked the old anime and Kanda, you'll probably want to check it out for his full back story. Different creative team and voice cast this time around as well.

Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen - Mirai Hen

The world was close to being destroyed by Ultimate Despair, who caused "The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History." In order to save this world from the event's chaos, the Future Foundation was formed. Although the organization continues its activities to restore the world, Makoto Naegi is under suspicion of treason due to him shielding a Remnant of Despair.
The Future Foundation members had gathered together to decide on his punishment, but they all end up getting trapped inside the place they were meeting by Monokuma, who demands that they begin the "Final Killing." They have strange bangles put on their wrists, and are given tranquilizers when a certain time arrives. To make things worse, there apparently is a real traitor amongst their ranks who is coming to kill the members of the Future Foundation.
In this game where class trials don't exist, the only way to get rid of the traitor is to find him and kill him off. Naegi are forced to face the ultimate death game, where it's kill or be killed. The tale of despair in which hope kills hope begins.

However, the students learned that "Talent isn't the most important thing in life; it's to involve yourself with people and make yourself a better person while making memories." However, little did they know that a mysterious project and discrimination of the courses were happening right under their noses.
Hajime Hinata, a boy from the preparatory class who craves for an ability. The fateful meeting he has drives the future of the school into an unimaginable direction. This is the story of what happened up until the "The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History." This is a story of hope that ends in despair.

Hikari Kohinata is a cheerful 15-year-old girl who lives near the ocean and she spends much of her time diving as a result. On her first day of high school, she meets a teacher who also likes scuba diving. There's also a 16-year-old classmate, Futaba, who gets dragged along in Hikari's maelstrom as soon as they meet at school. Most of the manga so far details the relationship between the two girls, which quickly seems to move into romantic two girl friendship-territory.
MangaGAF says the show is: A romantic look into the diving world from the angle of a group of high-schooler and their teacher, with some funny moments to boot. If you liked Aria and a sweet slice of life is what you're looking for, then this is for you.

- There will be two anime adaptations based on Key’s Planetarian coming this year. The first, titled Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume, will be an ONA series composed of 5 episodes. The second adaptation is an anime film titled Planetarian: Hoshi no Hito that will release in Japanese theatres on September 3rd. The movie has been revealed to be adapting a side story from the visual novel.
